ATHLETE OF THE MONTH: SOPHIA NESBIT

PCC Athletics proudly announces that Sophia Nesbit has been named the Polly D. Piland State Farm Insurance Agency Volleyball Athlete of the Month.

Nesbit just completed her Freshman season with the volleyball team, and hails from Macclesfield, NC.  Check out our full interview with Sophia below:

Telekinesis, because I could move ANYTHING with my mind.

What does competing at Pitt CC mean to you?

It is a privilege to be able to compete at the higher level and be able to get a good, solid education with support from so many people, which is very important to me.

What are your plans after Pitt?

To continue my education through East Carolina University, getting my bachelor's in nursing degree.
