BASKETBALL DEFEATS FAYETTEVILLE TECH 84-73

The depth that PCC has shown all year helped to carry the Bulldogs to an 84-73 road win at Fayetteville Tech on Saturday.  Twelve Pitt players recorded points in the contest, and PCC's two leading scorers both came off the bench.  Taji Moore and Rovel Ray both scored 15 points a piece to help the Dawgs to an 18-6 overall record and a 14-2 record in Region X play.  Pitt remains in 1st place headed down the final stretch of the season.

The Bulldogs will hit the road this weekend to take on 2nd place Guilford Tech (18-4, 12-3 conf.) in a battle that will have major implications on determining the Region X regular season champion.  Pitt then heads to Patrick Henry (10-11, 6-9 conf.) on Sunday.
