BASKETBALL CRUISES PAST THOMAS NELSON ON SOPHOMORE NIGHT

The Bulldogs wrapped up the 2018-2019 regular season in style on Saturday, defeating the Gators of Thomas Nelson 114-59 in front of a standing room only crowd in the Coburn Center.

The Gators were able to keep it close in the 1st half, as the Bulldogs went into halftime with a 43-35 halftime lead.  The second half was a different story as Pitt was able to outscore TNCC 71-24 to wrap up the 114-59 victory.

Devonte' Pettaway, Timothy Downing, Ben Cox, Reginald Clark, and DonQuez Davis all finished with double digit pounds in the win.

PCC finished the regular season at 22-7 overall and took home the Region X Regular Season Championship with a conference record of 17-3. 

The Bulldogs will travel to Raleigh to compete in the Region X Tournament on March 8th and 9th. 

As Region X Regular Season Champions, Pitt earned a bid to compete in the NJCAA DII National Tournament in Danville, Illinois March 19-23.
