BULLDOG ELITE: TAYLOR CARROLL

BULLDOG ELITE: TAYLOR CARROLL

Taylor Carroll was a member of the Bulldog softball program during the 2017 and 2018 seasons under then Head Coach Jennie Harp.  Carroll, a Princeton High School graduate, concluded her PCC career as the most decorated player in program history.  In her freshman season Carroll led the Bulldogs to the NJCAA DII World Series and was named the 2017 Region X Player of the Year.  In addition, she was also recognized as an NJCAA Third Team-All American and an NJCAA 1st Team Academic All-American.

Carroll matched her great Freshman season in 2018, once again leading the Bulldogs to the World Series.  She was once again recognized as an All-American and was also named 1st Team All-Region X in addition to numerous other awards.

Former Head Coach Jennie Harp had this to say regarding Taylor Carroll's impact on the program:

"Taylor is an elite athlete.  She took care of everything on and off the field.  She was the Player of the Year as a freshman and and a two-time All-American.  Our entire team looked up to her and strived to follow her example because of how much she cared.  I wish I could've had her for 4 years."

We asked Taylor what her time at PCC meant to her and she answered "Playing at Pitt was one of the best decisions I have ever made.  I was blessed with two of the best coaches I could have had in Jennie Harp and Cassie Harrell.  They taught me how to be the best player I could be on and off the field.  I was lucky to have a team that became like family both years that I played.  It meant the world to me to have coaches and teammates that were there for you and pushed you to be your best.  I made friendships and memories that will last a lifetime!  I will always remember my time at Pitt and thank God he took me down that path.  Go Bulldogs!"
