HURRICANES OUTLAST PCC

Louisburg defeated Pitt Wednesay night by a score of 7-4.  The Hurricanes jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held it until the bottom of the eighth when the Bulldogs rallied to tie the game at 4.  LC answered back, plating 3 runs of their own in the 9th to claim a 7-4 victory.

Nolan Bolt took the loss on the mound, working 2+ innings before being relieved by Will Liverpool.  Matt Little, Branden Kunz, Evan Tosto, and Cole Taylor all pitched for the Bulldogs as well in the loss.

Offensively Pitt was led by Tyshawn Barrett who collected 2 hits on the night.

PCC hosts Wake Tech this Saturday and Sunday in what will be the final homestand of the season.  On Sunday, the Bulldogs will recognize their sophomores prior to the game.
