Goldsmith's 3 Home Run Weekend Lifts Bulldogs Past Rams

The Bulldog offense was in full effect this weekend blasting 9 home runs and scoring 39 runs on the weekend to sweep Southeastern Community College by scores of 15-3, 15-2, and 9-8.

GAME 1    PITT 15  SOUTHEASTERN 3

Andrew Blake turned a complete game performance to earn the win on the mound for the Bulldogs.  Drew Piscorik started the offense out on the right foot with a 2 run Homer in the first inning recording two of his four RBI's of the day.  Joey Goldsmith was red hot, turning in a double and 2 Home Runs on the game.  Sammy Craft and Logan Welch also tacked on homers in the victory.

GAME 2    PITT 15  SOUTHEASTERN 2

The Bulldogs got another complete game performance in game 2, this time from Sophomore Jake Isbell.  The PCC offense picked up where it left off in game 1, blasting 2 more longballs and adding 5 doubles.  Patrick Wheeler led off the game with a solo home run, followed immediately by a Trevor Losito bomb.  Austin LaFollete led the Dawgs with a four hit performance.

GAME 3    PITT 9  SOUTHEASTERN 8

Game 3 proved to be a much different game, as PCC rallied from down 8-7 in the ninth inning to come back and win 9-8.  Joey Goldsmith belted his third home run of the weekend and Logan Welch ripped a crucial game tying 3 run HR.  Brandon Winstead earned the win on the mound in relief.
