Pitt continued playing well this week, coming away with victories against Clinton College and Catawba Valley.

Pitt 86 Clinton 84

The Bulldogs were able to come away with a narrow 2 point victory in a back and forth affair.  Darian Daniels stole the show, racking up 23 points including 6 three's.  Brandon Faison and Antonio Freeman both recorded double-doubles adding 16 and 23 points respectively.

Pitt 84 Catawba Valley 80

Pitt once again came up victorious in a hard fought battle, completing the regular season sweep of the Red Hawks 84-80.  Brandon Faison led the Bulldogs with 33 points in the victory.

Notes:

Brandon Faison and Antonio Freeman remain in the top 5 in the nation in points per game and rebounds per game respectively.  The Bulldogs are currently ranked #25 in the country.  Pitt is 13-5 overall and 6-4 in the conference.  The next contest is scheduled for Monday, January 29th at 7:00PM at home against Vance-Granville.
