Basketball Splits Weekend on the Road

Basketball took home a split this weekend after defeating Thomas Nelson 108-61 and losing to Bryant & Stratton 96-95.

 

Pitt had 5 players score in double figures en route to a lobsided 108-61 victory on Saturday.  Brandon Faison recorded a double double with 19 points and 14 assists.  Antonio Freeman also had a stadnout night, recording 22 points while snatching 17 rebounds for a double double of his own.

On Sunday, the Bulldogs traveled to Bryant & Statton and lost a hard fought 96-95 game.  Faison and Freeman pushed the Bulldogs again.  Faison racked up 30 points and Freeman added 22 in a valiant effort.

 

Pitt is now 6-3 overall and 1-2 in conference.  The Bulldogs are back in action Thursday, December 7th at Johnston County at 8:00PM.
