Basketball Splits Opening Weekend

 
The Pitt Men's Basketball team opened up their season on November 4th taking on Potomac State out of West Virginia in Martinsville, Virginia.  Despite an outstanding performance from Brandon Faison (23 points, 7 assists, 4 rebounds), Pitt fell to Potomac State by a score of 84-74.  Timothy Downing added 14 points and 6 rebounds to go along with Darian Daniels' 8 points.
 
Pitt quickly rebounded, bouncing back to defeat Prince George Community College by a score of 84-80.  Faison was unstoppable once again, pouring in 38 points to go along with 8 assists and 5 boards.  Antonio Freeman added 12 points and 8 rebounds, and Kenneth Sims Jr. scored 10 points and recorded 4 assists.
