Clinton College tops Bulldogs in opener

GOLDEN BEARS TOP BULLDOGS IN SEASON OPENER

A packed house at the Coburn Center looked on as Bulldogs kicked off the 2018-2019 campaign against the Golden Bears of Clinton College.

Clinton started strong, controlling the game early before PCC cut the deficit down to 5 at the half, trailing 35-30.  The Bulldogs were able to battle back several times throughout the game but the Golden Bears were always able to answer back, eventually earning the 85-70 win.

Ben Cox led the offensive attack for the Bulldogs, racking up 20 points and 9 rebounds to finish 1 board short of a double double.

Pitt will travel to CCBC Dundalk to compete in the Annual Mixer tournament on November 3rd and 4th.  In the first contest they will take on ASA College at 5:00 before going up against the College of Southern Maryland Sunday the 4th at 2:00.
