BASKETBALL SPLITS WEEKEND
The Bulldogs traveled to Martinsville, VA this weekend to take on Bull City Prep on Saturday and Thomas Nelson CC on Sunday.
Saturday's contest was a high scoring affair that saw a back and forth game eventually finish up with Bull City on top by a score of 100-96.
Ben Cox once again led the charge for the Bulldogs, finishing with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Reginald Clark added 19 points and Semaj Yelverton dropped in 16 points off the bench.
PCC was able to bounce back from Saturday's defeat and knock off Thomas Nelson on Sunday by a score of 90-79, earning them their second win of the young season. Ben Cox turned in a very consistent 20 points once again, and 4 other Bulldogs recorded double digits.
Pitt travels to Lenoir CC on Thursday, Nov. 29th for their first conference matchup. Tip-off is set for 7 PM.
