Softball and Baseball Conclude Outstanding Seasons in World Series

It was a memorable season for both the Pitt Community College Softball and Baseball programs. Under first year Head Coach Jennie Harp, the Lady Bulldogs won the Region X Championship and Southeast District Championship and advanced to NJCAA World Series in Clinton, MS. Pitt softball finished #19 in the country with a 25-14 overall record. Coach Harp was also awarded the distinction of Region X Coach of the Year and Southeast District Coach of the Year. Baseball finished #5 in the last regular season poll and went undefeated in The Region X Tournament to claim a birth in the World Series in Enid, OK. The Bulldogs finished with a 42-9 record. Coach Tommy Eason was also awarded the Region X Coach of the Year and Southeast District Coach of the Year.

Softball boasted 6 All Region Players including Taylor Carroll, the Region X Player of the Year:
