BULLDOGS SPLIT ROAD MATCHES WITH RICHARD BLAND COLLEGE
PCC traveled to Petersburg, VA this weekend to take on the Statesmen of Richard Bland College. Pitt entered the contest at 1-0 with a victory over Mid-Atlantic Christian while Richard bland came in at 1-1 with a victory over Sandhills CC and a loss to Montgomery County CC.
Pitt struggled to gain any ground in the first match, eventually losing in straight sets. The Statesmen took the first set 25-18 before claiming the second and third sets by scores of 25-16 and 29-27.
The second match of the day started out with RBC picking up where they left off, winning the first set 25-20. Pitt rallied back to take the second set 25-18 and used that momentum to capture the third and fourth sets by scores of 25-15 and 25-14.
PCC (2-1) takes on Fayetteville Tech on the road Tuesday at 6:00 PM.
