Brandon Faison named Pitt Community College November Athlete of the Month

Brandon Faison is Pitt Community College's November Athlete of the Month.  He has been outstanding thus far this season, and has been a pivotal  part of the team's early success.  The sophomore point guard out of Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte has averaged 22.8 points per game and also is recording almost 7 assists per game.  We asked Brandon a few questions about the season.  Here is what he had to say:

 

You've been having an incredible season. What do attribute your success to this year?

I would say working hard and staying focused.

What are the major differences you've seen in basketball from the high school level to the college level?

The speed of the game in college so much faster.

Who are your biggest role models? Why?

My Mom and Dad.  Seeing them strive and work hard for the things they have pushes me to do my very best.

Which of your coaches would win if they all had a three point shootout?

Favorite singer/band/song that gets you pumped up before a game?

NBA Youngboy- GG

Thoughts on the remainder of the season? What will it take for your team to continue your recent success?

We as a team must continue to go hard , execute, and play together.
