Regular Season Champions Pitt CC Head into Tournament as #1 Seed.
An automatic bid for the DII World Series in Enid, Oklahoma will be on the line as 8 teams meet for the Region X/Southeast District Tournament. Burlington, NC will host another Region X tournament this time at the Burlington Athletic Stadium, the home of the Burlington Royals, the rookie class affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.
The Pitt Baseball team secured the regular season conference championship in Region X earning the number #1 seed in the upcoming tournament. The Bulldogs open up on Friday, May 11 at 7:00pm vs. the #8 seed, Southeastern CC. Pitt earned back-to-back regular season championships with a 20-2 Region X record and an overall record of 28-10-1. Pitt is currently ranked 13th in the NJCAA Division 2 polls.
