BULLDOGS TOP BARTON COLLEGE IN PRESEASON MATCHUP

Pitt opened up the 2020 season in style, recording an 11-2 preseason victory against Barton College today.

Rebekah Williams earned start in the circle, allowing no runs on only 1 hit in 3 innings of work.  Amaya Cerutti then came on to pitch 3 innings in relief, surrending 2 runs on only 1 hit.

Alexis Phillips led the way offensively, racking up 2 doubles and and 2 RBI's.  Marissa Roach and Lexi Phillips both turned in great nights at the plate as well, adding 2 and 3 hits respectively.

PCC is back in action on Feb. 11th at NC Wesleyan.
