19 SOFTBALL EXTENDS WINNING STREAK TO 6

The Bulldogs tallied their 6th straight victory on Tuesday as they won both games of a DH at PHCC by scores of 6-0 and 9-6.

Rebekah Williams tossed a 2 hit shutout in a dominant pitching performance in game 1.  Kate Lancaster anchored the offense, going 3-3 with 2 doubles at the plate.

Amaya Cerutti earned the start in the circle for the Bulldogs in game 2, tossing a 7 inning complete game and earning the win.  The Pitt offense was hot gathering 16 hits in the contest.  PCC was led by Summer Campbell (3-5, double, 2 RBI's) and Kaitlyn Kostrezebski (3-3).

Pitt travels to Surry CC today to take on the Knights in a DH beginning at 3:00 PM.
