?It was a very even matchup, and both team?s competed very well. Our players really left it all out on the field and played with a lot of heart and determination. It was tough adjusting to 3 different pitchers in just one game, but our patience at the plate and timely hits, execution, and walks were huge. It was our goal at the beginning of the season to win the regular season and we are really going to enjoy this win for the next couple of days and regroup and focus on the tournament next week. It took everyone on this team to get where we are at now, and it's going to take everyone to be successful in the tournament. Today was a huge team win and I'm extremely proud of the way the team competed today and their accomplishments."

The Bulldogs will head to Burlington, NC for the NJCAA DII Region X tournament next week to compete on Friday and Saturday in a double-elimination format tournament. The winner of the tournament will go on to complete at the NJCAA DII World Series in Clinton, MS.
