Bulldogs Defeat Central Carolina to Earn Season Sweep of the Cougars

Pitt earned it's 3rd victory of the season on Tuesday night as they once again bested the Cougars of CCCC in dominant fashion.

Coach Speas made a few changes to Bulldog rotation which proved successful as PCC cruised to a 25-5 opening match victory.  The momentum continued on through the second and third sets as the Bulldogs tallied 25-10 and 25-16 victories.

As a team, PCC recorded 6 blocks, 30 kills, and a season high 12 service aces.

Calissa Parrott was outstanding in the win, recording a team high 8 kills and landing 2 service aces.  Carson Jones had yet another big night for the Bulldogs, racking up 7 kills.

Pitt (3-1) returns home on Tuesday, September 11th (6:00PM start) to take on Lenoir (2-5).
