VOLLEYBALL CONCLUDES OUTSTANDING 2018 SEASON

After defeating Louisburg in Round 1 of the Region X Tournament, the Bulldogs matched up with #1 overall seed Catawba Valley CC.  Despite battling from start to finish, PCC was unable to knock off a very talented Red Hawk squad.  CVCC won all 3 sets by scores of 25-16, 25-15, 25-18.

Pitt finishes the 2018 campaign with an 18-6 overall record.

Additionally, the Bulldogs had four players selected to the 2018 All-Region X Team.  Calissa Parrott and Hannah Sladick earned 1st Team Honors while Gabby Isaacs and Carson Jones earned 2nd Team Honors.

"We completed the 2018 season with a successful 18-6 record, ending 3rd in the region overall. I am really proud of how this team developed together and pushed each other daily to better themselves. We experienced great success this season, focusing on the fundamentals of volleyball, and using our talents and skills to compete at a high level. We had outstanding talent throughout our roster this season, and without each individual on that roster we would not have been as successful as we were. This team is very special, and I have enjoyed coaching them and watching them grow as individuals."  - Head Coach Katelynn Speas
