Home vs CCBC Dundalk Lions 12/3/22:
The game started out a bit slow on both sides of the ball for the Bobcats who were down two players due to illness going back and fourth with the Lions until a much needed boost from Josiah Turner who went 6 for 7 from th field off the bench, saw the tide switch and cause a run midway through the first half that had the Bobcats extend a lead that they never let up taking them into a halftime lead up 31-20. The Bobcats didnt start the second half with the same energy they did in the first, coming out hitting 3 consecutive 3s storming out of the gate to a 9-0 run extending the lead to 40-20. The Bobcats fired on all cylinders shooting just under 50% from the field as a team and they stuck to there defensive values crusing them to a 76-58 win at home.
Game Leaders: #10 Josiah Turner with 16pts & 3 steals, #13 Logan Blair with 9pts & 13 rebounds, #0 Zaire Rogers 12pts & 8 rebounds
Away vs Pitt Community College 12/4/22:
Both teams came out starting the game locked in defensively and there was no seperation between the two until the very end, at half the Bobcats found themselves down 32-31. This stayed true in the second half as both teams could only seperate at times by 5pts until the lead would switch. Staying compossed the Bobcats took full advantage of all opportunities given and finished strong to win 71-65 in a hard fought conference matchup. We saw the return of one player due to illness; Jefferson "Nate" Youngblood who turned out to be the game changer in this one. After missing last game Youngblood didnt take long to assurt himself in this game leading the way for the Bobcats with 20pts. Logan Blair continues to have a strong pressence on the glass as this was his second consecutive game with double-digit boards. Whats suprising is that the bobcats were able to finish the game strong without having made one three-pointer the entire matchup. Next up the Bobcats travel to Raleigh, NC Friday to take on Wake Tech (1-5).
Game Leaders: #20 Jefferson Youngblood with 20pts & 6 rebounds, #13 Logan Blair with 16pts & 10 rebounds, Kendall Bynum 11pts & 3 assits
