It took five sets but Pitt Community College regained its composure in the decisive fifth frame to put away Rockingham Community College, 3-2 (25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 23-25 and 15-11).

Laurie Williamson finished with a game-high 18 kills to lead the Bulldogs offensively. Jordan Woolard tacked on 13 kills for PCC while Heather Lucas tallied 11 kills to go along with seven aces.

Setter Peyton Sudheimer recorded 21 digs for PCC and accounted for 38 of the team's 40 assists for the game. Teammate Jordan Young led players in digs with a game-high 30.
