VOLLEYBALL GOES 2-1 AT REGION X-TRAVAGANZA

PCC improved to 8-3 overall and 4-1 in Region X play after three matches in the Region X-Travaganza this weekend in Hickory.

The Bulldogs rolled in the first match, taking down Guilford Tech in straight sets by scores of 25-8, 25-9, and 25-7.

In their second match on Friday, Pitt cruised to a 3-1 victory over Davidson County CC.  DCCC took the first set 25-18 before the Bulldogs recovered to take three straight sets and earn the victory.  (25-19, 25-16, 25-19)

Saturday's contest saw PCC go up against Catawba Valley CC (currently ranked #6 Nationally) in a 9:00 AM matchup.

The first two sets were close battles all the way through with Red Hawks eventually winning both by scores of 25-23 and 25-22.  CVCC got out to an early lead in the third set and never looked back, winning 25-12 and taking the series.
