BASEBALL GOES 1-2 AT BRUNSWICK

Pitt came up short both games Saturday losing by scores of 7-6 and 12-7 before picking a 7-6 victory on Sunday.

GAME 1

PITT 6

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 6-3 in game 1 but the Dolphins battled to reclaim the lead at 7-6 and earned the victory.  Hunter Christopher led the way at the plate going 2-5. 

GAME 2

The BCC bats remained hot in game 2 as the Dolphins tallied 12 runs on 8 hits.  PCC Starter Logan Jarosz was chased from the game in the 1st inning and Scott Mayo and Jordan Leggett finished the game in relief.  Jamie Winfield, Tom Caufield, and Jared Raynor had multi-hit games for the Bulldogs.

GAME 3

Pitt responded in game 3, jumping out to an early 6-1 lead.  Bulldog starter Matt Little kept the Dolphins off balance, working 6.2 innings to earn the victory.  Noah Jones came on in relief before the final out was collected by Mitchell Hofler who earned the Save.  Jared Raynor once again led PCC offensively going 4-5 on the day.

Pitt travels to Barton College on Wednesday for 3:00 PM first pitch before hosting Lenoir CC this weekend.
