MCLAWHORN'S WALK-OFF SINGLE LIFTS BULLDOGS OVER HURRICANES
Pitt took on Louisburg for the 2nd time this season on Wednesday night and defeated the Hurricanes 8-7.
The Bulldogs struck first when Hunter Christopher singled and was driven in by Cam Jackson. Louisburg then took a 6-2 lead in the 6th before Pitt used 5 straight walks to come back and take the lead 7-6. The Hurricanes were able to tie the score at 7-7 and it remained that way until Colby Mclawhorn delivered the game winning walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th to give the Bulldogs the 8-7 victory.
PCC (5-3) travels to Patrick Henry this weekend to open conference play.
