BASEBALL DROPS SERIES AT PHCC

The Bulldogs were only able to come away with 1 win this weekend in the series at Patrick Henry.  Pitt lost 10-1 in game one before winning game two 12-2.  On sunday PCC fell 3-1 to PHCC.

GAME 1

The Bulldogs pushed across their lone run in the 1st inning on a Joe Millwee Double.  PHCC answered quickly, knocking out starter Noah Jones in the 2nd inning.  The Patriots continued to push across runs, eventually winning 10-1.

GAME 2

The offense for PCC battled back in game 2, plating 12 runs on 15 hits.  Caleb Morris and Tristen Kenyon led the way with 3 hits a piece.  Josh Harlow earned the win on the mound in relief of starter Scott Mayo. 

GAME 3

PHCC 3 PITT 1

Despite a great effort from starting pitcher Matt Little, the Bulldogs were unable to capitalize in the clutch, stranding 13 runners in an eventual 3-1 loss.

The Bulldogs are back in action this Wednesday as they take on Barton JV at home beginning at 4:00 PM.
