Amy Gardner enters her 4th season as the Head Coach of the Bulldogs with a career record of 59-47.
Gardner graduated from Farmville Central High School where she was All-Conference in Volleyball, Softball, and Track and Field. Additionally, she earned an Individual State Championship in Discus.
Coach Gardner then went on to get her BA in Sports Management from Barton College where she also earned a Minor in Physical Education and Business Administration. As a softball player at Barton, Gardner earned All-Conference honors all 4 years and was named to the All South Team in 1997.
Gardner's coaching career began at Rocky Mount Academy where she coached Volleyball, Basketball, Soccer, and Cheerleading. From 2002-2004 Coach Gardner was the lead instructor at "The Zone" before becoming the Athletic Director at The Oakwood School, where she also taught and coached Volleyball and Softball. During her time as the Volleyball Coach at Oakwood, she earned 3 Conference Championships, 3 Conference Tournament Championships, and was an NCISAA Runner-Up. As the Oakwood Softball Coach, Gardner earned 5 Conference Championships and 2 NCISAA State Championships.
