SOFTBALL SWEEPS PATRICK HENRY IN DH

Pitt improved to 19-4 overall and 12-1 in Region X after defeating Patrick Henry yesterday 13-5 and 10-1.

Emily McGee improved to 6-0 on the year, tossing a 5 inning complete game.  She allowed 5 runs on 6 hits and struck out 2.  A big 5 run second inning propelled the Bulldog offense to victory.  Emily Mcgee, Meghan Pullicino, and Rebekah Williams led PCC at the plate, all delivering 2 hits each.

In the second game of the day, Pitt carried a 3-1 lead into the fifth inning before plating 7 runs to seal the victory.  Janna Dawson earned her 7th victory of the season on the mound, as she tossed a 5 inning complete game.  Dawson allowed only 1 run on 5 hits.  Morgan Shirley, Emily McGee, Roslyn Bunch, and Breanna Hardee all recorded 2 hits each in the win.

PCC travels to Wake Tech this Saturday and Sunday.
