BULLDOGS TAKE DOWN BRYANT & STRATTON ON SOPHOMORE DAY

Saturday's match vs. Bryant & Stratton came with some additional pressure, as the Bulldogs needed a victory to clinch a birth in the Region X Tournament.  Led by their 5 sophomores, Pitt responded and came away with a 3-0 victory (25-22, 25-20, 25-19).

Saturday was the last home match for sophomores Megan Hall, Holly Gurley, Sarah Sawyer, Ashlee Harrelson, and Jennifer Herman.  Winning in deciding fashion while earning a tournament birth was a fitting last home game for these hard working student-athletes. 

The Bulldogs travel to Mid-Atlantic Christian University tomorrow before beginning the Region X Conference Tournament.
