#12 Gust got the win for for the Bobcats lasting five innings, allowing zero runs on three hits and striking out one.
#7 Asijah Hammons led the team to victory by driving in six runs, she went 3-for-4 at the plate anddrove in runs on a home run in the first and a home run in the fourth.
The Bobcats hit three home runs on the day when #7 Hammons had a dinger in the first and fourth innings & #11 Isabella Wren put one out in the third inning.
The Bobcats saw the ball well today, racking up 16 hits in the game, #7 Hammons,#21 Kira Turner, #9 Emily Edwards, #12 Gust, and #5 Kaitlyn Covey all collected multiple hits while #9 Edwards, #21 Turner, and #7 Hammons each managed three hits to lead the team.

The Bryant & Stratton Lady Bobcats fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 4-2 loss to the Fayetteville Technical Community College Trojans in Game 2 on Saturday splitting the series (1-1).
The Bobcats made things interesting when they scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to make is a two score game.
The team had multiple opportunities to tie and take the lead but strong pitching by the Trojans secured their win.
#21 Kira Turner went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead the Bobcats in hits. #8 Isabella Johnson and #21 Turner tied for the lead in stolen bases with two to lead the team, while as a hole the team stole five bases during the game.
The injury bug has come at the worst possible time for the Lady Bobcats Softball Team as they gear up for their first postseason in program history.
As playoffs start on Friday, the Bobcats will host there first postseason and take a much needed rest during the week going into the weekend as they look to get healthy to face an undetermined opponent at this time. If the team is able to heal up quick and get there key players back, they should be looking to make a nice run at the Championship.
