Bulldogs Coast to 12-point Win Over Montgomery College

WINTERVILLE—Pitt Community College shot 45 percent from the floor and 85 percent from the free-throw-line to cruise past visiting Montgomery College, 95-83.

The Bulldogs, who have now won two straight, opened the game with tenacious defense to build a 19-point lead by halftime at 54-35.

PCC (6-4 overall) led by as many as 20 in the second half before the Raptors' Joe Serrano and Devin Sholer helped Montgomery College close the gap.

Alfozno Josey led six Bulldogs in double figures scoring with 20 points. Jake Ashorn had 17, Josh Cox added 14, Kendall Ham and Tomonique Hargrove scored 12 each, and Romone Adderley finished with 11 for PCC, which shot 34-for-76 for the game from the floor.
