Turnovers Key in PCC's 11-point Win Over Tidewater

Pitt Community College forced 16 turnovers and protected the basketball on the offensive end of the floor to top Tidewater Community College at home, 64-53.

The Bulldogs, who stretched an early 17-11 advantage into a 34-21 halftime lead, turned the ball over just seven times against the Storm in 40 minutes of play.

After trading baskets with Tidewater early in the second half, Pitt executed down the stretch to claim the victory.

Romone Adderley, Jake Ashorn and Ashton Brown scored 11 points each to pace PCC offensively. Brown added five boards and three steals, Leveon Hines added 10 points, and Kendall Ham corralled 11 rebounds for the 'Dawgs.
