Ham's Perfect Night Pushes PCC Past Lancers

WINTERVILLE—Make it five straight wins for the Pitt Community College basketball team, after the Bulldogs held on to defeat Lenoir Community College Thursday night, 88-86.

Kendall Ham turned in a perfect shooting performance in tallying 23 points for the Bulldogs. The sophomore guard finished 7-for-7 from the floor, including five 3-pointers, and 4-for-4 from the foul line to go along with four rebounds, three steals, three assists and no turnovers.

Alfonzo Josey came off the bench to score 17 for Pitt, which led 43-39 at halftime and survived several missed foul shots down the stretch to secure a ninth victory in the past 10 games.

Michael Williams also came up big for the Bulldogs with 12 points and 15 rebounds. Romone Adderley added 12 points, and Tominique Hargrove dished out eight assists to help PCC improve to 15-8 overall, 11-4 in the Region X Conference.

Next up for the 'Dawgs is Region X-foe Patrick Henry Community College Saturday in the Charles Coburn Center at 3 p.m.
