The Bulldogs traveled to Surry Community College early Saturday morning and almost pulled out a first game victory against the Knights. Surry held off a late game surge by the bulldogs to win 9-8. Jessica Curtis took the loss.
In game 2, the bulldogs responded well behind Makayla Meeks in the pitching circle. Meeks went 6 innings striking out 2, walking 3, and allowing only 5 hits. Meeks shut out Surry in the 5-0 Bulldog victory. Hayes Moss and Shi Warren each added homeruns in the game. The bulldogs will, again, take on Surry tomorrow for a single game at 1 pm.
